If your caravan or motorhome is going to sit outside between trips, and you'd rather not think about the roof until the next one, this is the fix. 1. The roof looks fine. You just never see it.

The weather doesn't care that the roof was clean the day you parked it. One afternoon with a broom against months of rain and sun is not a fair fight. 3. A dry roof can be kept dry. Water damage can't be dried out.
This is the mistake that doesn't show until it's too late. Dirt on the roof is no problem, it brushes off in fifteen minutes before the next trip. Water that was left standing is a different kind of problem. Once moisture has found its way in through a seam, it sits in the roof and in the wall, and no sun reaches it there. You stand next to the tech at the service centre as he puts the meter to the ceiling, watch the reading climb near the hatch, and tell yourself it's probably just condensation. But it isn't condensation. It's months of rain that ran the wrong way, and the moisture check only shows what has already happened. A dry roof can be kept dry all season, but a wet one can't be dried back.
